Having lived in Holland for many years I got quite used to the tulips. I would take drives through the tulips fields or visit Keukenhof. I would see fresh cut tulips in all the corner flower stores, friends would bring me tulips, there were everywhere. I was surrounded by tulips and springtime was always a special time of year. Love, love, love the tulips.
I think I always will. Since then I have found every opportunity I can find to track down fields of tulips. They are in several places in the Pacific Northwest, in British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon, and probably some other places I have yet to discover. Over the years I have visited many of these places and took my time in shooting them and capturing them for stock.
